Pure smiles next to the books
The Library of Dreams project is calling on the ONUS community and the CryptoForLife and Cardano4Good projects to join hands in fundraising to set up a library for the school. The Library of Dreams team has worked closely with teachers and conducted on-site surveys directly with them. This is the fourth consecutive year the CryptoForLife project has partnered with the Library of Dreams project.
Amidst village roads shaded by coconut trees, a small school is nestled by the river in Vĩnh Long province, an area that was once part of old Bến Tre. There, children still go to class every day in worn-out sandals, with soil-stained hands but eyes that are always bright with a passion for learning.
The classroom is simple, and the library is just an old cabinet with a few worn-out textbooks and some torn comic books that have been passed down for many years. But for the children, it is still a great treasure.

Passionate eyes among the small books
The thin, old books, which seem to be nothing, are an entire world opening up in the children's eyes. In each page, they see things beyond their fields and riverbanks, and they see dreams they never dared to name: to become a doctor, a teacher, a writer...

The children's focused, passionate drawings
And that's why we want to set up a Library of Dreams at that small school.
It doesn't need to be big, just warm enough. It doesn't need to be luxurious, just have enough books so that every child here has a peaceful place to read, a door that opens up to the world.
The funds will be used for:
- Setting up a friendly, safe library corner
- Providing hundreds of children's books, life skills books, and educational comics
- Buying bookshelves, tables, and chairs suitable for elementary school students
- Organizing reading activities and teaching children how to use the library
Specifically, the Library of Dreams team will accompany the school's teaching staff for 5 years to conduct art and creative activities, update new books annually, and nurture a reading culture for the children.

Radiant smiles in a colorful library space

A favorite drawing activity in the library
We believe that just one book at the right time, a reading place filled with enough love, can change an entire life. Join us in planting another Library of Dreams in Vĩnh Long, where children are quietly holding their dreams in their hearts every time they gently turn a page.
This is a long-term project for the young generation of Vietnam to access creative arts and entrepreneurship. The future is not just about successful people but also about kind, ethical, and useful children with a foundation of creative entrepreneurship so that the Vietnamese people can stand shoulder to shoulder with great nations around the world.
Brief information about the Fund & Sponsors:
LIBRARY OF DREAMS is an ART & CREATIVE LIBRARY project for Vietnamese elementary school children in areas with limited access to books and cultural, artistic, and creative activities. The project was founded by Ms. Nguyễn Phi Vân, Chairwoman of the Southeast Asian Angel Investor Association, in 2014. In 2017, the project was upgraded to the Library of Dreams Social Enterprise. The creative library is a place to nurture imagination and a reading culture, helping children access knowledge from all over the world and planting the seeds of dreams for them to become 21st-century global citizens.
As of the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the project has built 324 Libraries of Dreams in 26 provinces and cities across Vietnam (based on updated provinces/cities): Hà Giang, Tuyên Quang, Sơn La, Hòa Bình, Lai Châu, Phú Thọ, Vĩnh Phúc, Lào Cai, Yên Bái, Lạng Sơn, Bắc Giang, Bắc Ninh, Thanh Hóa, Nghệ An, Hà Tĩnh, Quảng Bình, Quảng Trị, Thừa Thiên Huế, Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Đắk Lắk, Đắk Nông, Lâm Đồng, Bình Phước, Đồng Nai, Cần Giờ - Ho Chi Minh City, Củ Chi - Ho Chi Minh City, Tây Ninh, Bến Tre, Tiền Giang, Vĩnh Long, Đồng Tháp, Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu, etc., reaching more than 162,000 students (approximately 500 students/elementary school: 3 classes * 5 grades) with access to books and art activities.

The project's aspiration is to build 1,000 Libraries to impact 1,000,000 Vietnamese students by 2030 (accounting for 10% of public secondary schools in Vietnam).
